For Providers: Maternity Referral Process

Orchard Maternity Vernon and the Centreville Clinic use a streamlined referral process to support timely access to care. Referral letters should be faxed to the Centreville Clinic at 250-275-7460. Once received, patients may be scheduled at either the Centreville Clinic or Orchard Maternity Vernon, depending on availability.

Our clinics will arrange the dating ultrasound and first-trimester laboratory investigations, so please just include an up-to-date medical history with your referral.

For patients referred later in pregnancy, or when there may be a delay before the first appointment, please refer to these recommended investigations for tests to order in advance. We ask that copies of all results be faxed to Orchard Maternity or the Centreville Clinic, depending on where the patient is receiving care.
